Like the rest of the country’s largely Christian-owned wineries, Domaine des Tourelles has lost 90 per cent of its domestic sales as a result of Israel’s recent invasion and the economic chaos surrounding the massive displacement of people. As we’ve worked with owner and winemaker Faouzi Issa and his family for  more than a decade, we’re keen to help. The simplest way of doing this is to increase our sales and bring in a new shipment months ahead of schedule. You’ll enjoy two great wines and at the same time support one of Lebanon’s oldest wineries by taking advantage of this great offer.

Viognier, Chardonnay and Muscat of Alexandria blend. Oak-free mouthful of peaches, apricots and textured tropical aromatics. Spicy, white peach characters with a sublime perfume of jasmine from the Muscat. This wine is fresh and bursting with peach and apricot flavours. Beautifully balanced with an impressive backbone of elegant minerality. This is a delight to the senses. Good with fish or to drink as an aperitif.

6 x Syrah/Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021, Bekaa Valley, Domaine des Tourelles

A traditional blend. Deep ruby red with fantastically expressive aromas of cherries, cedar wood, rosemary and cloves. A rich savoury palate with lots of Morello cherry and blackberry flavours, some earthy spice and fine tannins. A wine packed with flavour and heritage. Perfect with rich, lamb casseroles or a spicy chickpea harissa stew.
