Domaine des Tourelles Rose, Bekaa Valley, Domaine des Tourelles

The Rosé is a blend of Cinsault, Syrah and Tempranillo. Grown over sand and clay-limestone soils, the grapes are hand harvested and fermented using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The Cinsault and Tempranillos are direct pressed and the Syrah is saignee. Loaded with salty strawberry and tart cherry notes, this is a textured rose that can compete with some of the best from Bandol, but has its own Lebanese character.

Aromas of red fruits especially cherries entice you on the nose, while the palate, marked by a lovely freshness. Great for summer drinking on the terrace and as accompaniment to Lebanese and other spicy dishes. Served with fresh grilled oily fishes with a salsa verde or some hot smoked salmon.
