Pott’s Catch Verdelho, Langhorne Creek, Bleasdale
Verdelho was amongst the first varieties planted in Langhorne Creek and still thrives today. Potts’ Catch also includes Verdelho from the barrel shed block – 1930. Henry Potts, grandson of Frank Potts was an avid fisherman, particularly of Mulloway in nearby Lake Alexandrina which can grow up to 80kg. Pictured on the right hand side of the photo of the label, this is where the name, Potts’ Catch comes from.
A crisp white wine with great perfume, jasmine, melon and fruit salad flavours with crisp acidity. Enjoy chilled, naturally a great accompaniment to fish and seafood dishes.
