Porrais Rabigato Reserva, Douro, 2023/2024, Casa Santos Lima

This wine, from the Demarcated Region of Douro, was made with a selection of the best „Rabigato” grapes planted in shale soils at 600 meters of altitude. The pellicular maceration was done in the cellar followed by the fermentation and ageing in 500 litre French oak barrels for 9 months. The wine presents an intense aromatic profile, great complexity and a long finish. In the mouth, flavours of citrus and vegetal fruits are predominant and well integrated with the oak notes.
