Domaine du Pavillon Meursault, Burgundy, 2022, Albert Bichot

This white Meursault has a bright luminous straw¬yellow colour. The nose is discreetly toasty followed by elegant floral notes on a backdrop of light plum and pear fruity aromas. The mouth is powerful, well¬balanced and dense, with delicious brioche flavours. The finish is persistent and very aromatic. Ideal with fine fish, big shellfish, white meats, poultry in sauce and strong cheeses, this Meursault will beautifully honour a free¬range chicken cooked with cream, sole, foie gras with truffles or a partridge with mushrooms. Drink now or keep for 3 to 5 years or more.
