Luccio Sangiovese, Clare Valley, 2023, Pikes

A touch of blackcurrant followed by typical dark cherry, and a hint of clove. Medium bodied wine, with a soft and subtle middle palate. Dark cherry continues through from the aroma. This wine is finished with dusty tannins, and a nice pop of acid. A fabulous food wine. Can pair with many dishes, however great with salami wood fired pizza or Penne Amatriciana. It will age well in the medium term, 3-5 years.
