Les Derniers Cepages, Languedoc, Domaine Sainte Rose

This wine is created with an equal blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Each variety was vinified separately, completing primary and malolactic fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Then the Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in one year old, medium toast, French oak barrels for a period of 8 months. This makes for an elegant and structured red wine, which is held in high regard amongst the Domaine Sainte Rose portfolio.

Colour: Deep opaque purple/black.
Nose: Aromas of violets and ripe morello cherry.
Palate: A smooth, spiced palate with soft tannins and a generous finish.
