The Legacy shows a delightful yeasty brioche aroma with a fine and vibrant bead. The lively citrus flavours are coupled with a rich creamy texture resulting from the extended yeast lees aging in the bottle. The Legacy is a complex, full-bodied and flavoursome Méthode Traditionnelle.
This wines developed, complex nose has aromas of green apple and citrus fruits. Hints of yeasty brioche follow through from nose to palate, vibrantly refreshing with delicate layers of macadamia shortbread and mousse. Champagne like in every way, we are left with balanced acidity and a crisp, dry finish.
A stunning New Zealand alternative of the French Champagne. A great aperitif or would suit many entrée dishes. Can be cellared for a further 10 years.
