Kadette Cape Blend, Stellenbosch, 2022, Kanonkop Estate

A blend of Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in roughly equally proportions, this is distinctively New World but with some Old World finesse and style as well. A deep ruby red colour, with notes of blackcurrant, tea leaves and vanilla spice on the nose, which follows through to the palate. A well balanced structure with fresk acidity and dry appetising finisz. This wines will keep developing in the bottles for the next 7-10 years.
