Granja Amareleja, Vinhas Velhas dos Aleixos, DOC Alentjo, Encostas d’Alqueva

Moreto is the grape variety on the left bank of the Guadiana, where it continues to be cultivated, mainly non-grafted (free-foot). Perhaps for this reason, the wines are so aromatic, balanced and sensitive. In the last harvest it was considered the best wine of the Cooperativa da Granja-Amareleja, a wine that has been bottled separately to honour the caste and ancestral practices maintained in the region.

This violet-coloured wine presents itself with red fruit aromas. In the mouth it is assumed to be balanced and well rounded.
Ageing : 8 months aging in oak casks.
