Dolcetto d’Alba, DOC Piedmont, 2024, Franco Conterno

Wine produced in the areas of Monforte d’Alba, Barolo and Novello, where the soil is malleable, rich in clay and difficult to work. Instead of barrel-ageing, fermentation takes place in steel tanks, and the wine is transferred several times before being bottled. Very intense purple ​​red colour; red fruits on the nose; pleasant and smooth in the mouth. Excellent with pasta dishes, white meats and fresh cheeses.
