In the heart of the Swartland wine region, lie these exclusively selected vineyards chosen for this wine, situated in high weathered granite slopes, well known for its low yield dryland bushvines which results in excellent wines with disctintive character. Swartland Winery specially selected these grapes to produce its Limited Release range, in the typical Old World wine styles.

A medium bodied wine with hints of liquorice and baking spice on the nose complemented by flavours of dried cranberry and raspberry. The palate is rich and smooth with lighter tannins yet a very balanced wine. Caramel and chocolate with ripe dried peach and red fruits on the palate gives you a well balanced red wine.

Enjoy with richer poultry, roasted pork or a meaty brisket. Cured meats
