Bleasdale

Bleasdale, started in 1850, is the second oldest family-owned winery in Australia. Fifth generation family members are still working there. Langhorne Creek, a quintessential Australian village with its pub, general store and community hall, is south-east of Adelaide. The winery is a sprawling corrugated iron building which is listed by the National Trust. Inside there’s a splendid red gum lever press dating back to 1890 and a tasting room which is part museum. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in Adelaide.
