Chile
In the 1990s, wines from Chile could be associated with cheap mass production, but, contrary to popular belief, Chile is now one of the most modern wine countries in the world, which can boast a high value for money. This is confirmed by a study conducted by Wine Spectator Magazine, which proved that the average price of a Cabernet rated at more than 85 points is $27 for Chilean wines and, for comparison, $77 for Californian wines. After all, Chile is not only breathtaking landscapes, but also a wealth of excellent terroirs, combining the influences of the mountains and the Pacific Ocean thanks to its record-long coastline. Our wines come from the Colchagua Valley, famous mainly for its full-bodied red wines. Few know, however, that this region has local micro terroirs ideal for cold-loving Pinot and Sauvignon Blanc.
